Ridgepoint Technologies is an AI-led, security-grounded technology firm in Northwest Ohio. We help businesses put AI and automation to work, with cybersecurity discipline woven into every engagement, and offered as a standalone advisory service.
Our Story
Ridgepoint Technologies was founded in 2026 by John Roeser, building on more than 25 years of enterprise IT and cybersecurity leadership. The firm exists to bring the discipline of large-company technology programs (strategy, security, and accountability) to growing businesses that need it but cannot justify a six-figure CISO or an enterprise consulting engagement.
The opening for Ridgepoint is simple: most growing businesses face the same problems as the Fortune 500 (AI adoption, security risk, compliance) with a fraction of the staff and budget to deal with them. They do not need another vendor selling them tools. They need a firm that can think strategically and execute the work.
Ridgepoint does three things: managed IT for small and mid-sized offices, AI and automation projects, and cybersecurity advisory. We use AI in our own delivery, and we apply enterprise security thinking to every recommendation we make and every machine we manage.

Founder
John Roeser founded Ridgepoint Technologies after more than 25 years building IT, cybersecurity, and cloud programs at organizations ranging from regional businesses to global enterprises. His background spans systems engineering, datacenter and cloud migrations, security operations, and CISO-level program leadership at a Fortune 500 quick-service restaurant brand and a publicly traded technology company. That experience (across the full stack of how technology actually gets built, secured, and operated) is the foundation Ridgepoint is built on.

How We Work
We advise, we build, and we run the day-to-day. Strategy, AI agents, automation, security work and managed IT happen under one roof, without the handoff friction of using separate firms to think through a problem, ship the fix, and keep it running.
Every conversation should start with insight, not a pitch. Initial calls focus on what your business actually needs and whether we are the right fit. Paid engagement comes later, if it makes sense at all.
Technology and security are complex enough already. We translate them into language leadership teams, owners, and procurement officers can act on confidently, without the jargon.
We do not sell with scare tactics. Our work is built on established frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS Controls, OWASP, and emerging AI risk standards), because structure produces results.
We explain the options, the costs, and exactly what Ridgepoint will provide before you commit. When a cheaper tool, or no change at all, is the right answer, that is the answer you get. Where we supply software licences under a managed IT plan, they are billed at cost plus a small margin and stay in your name.
We use AI in the work we ship. Faster delivery, fewer mistakes, and the same playbook we help our clients adopt, proven on our own projects first.

Ridgepoint Technologies serves businesses across Northwest and Central Ohio and Southeast Michigan. Much of the work is done remotely, so the region is where we know the local landscape, not a hard limit on who we can help. We meet clients on-site when it matters and remotely when it does not. Every engagement is built around how the client actually wants to work.
