Our Story
Why Ridgepoint exists
Ridgepoint Technologies was founded in 2026 by John Roeser, building on more than 25 years of enterprise IT and cybersecurity leadership. The firm exists to bring the discipline of large-company technology programs — strategy, security, and accountability — to growing businesses that need it but cannot justify a six-figure CISO or an enterprise consulting engagement.
The opening for Ridgepoint is simple: most growing businesses face the same problems as the Fortune 500 — AI adoption, ecommerce, hosting, security risk, compliance — with a fraction of the staff and budget to deal with them. They do not need another vendor selling them tools. They need a firm that can think strategically and execute the work.
Ridgepoint covers four pillars: AI and automation, cybersecurity advisory, secure hosting, and modern web. We use AI in our own delivery, and we apply enterprise security thinking to every line of code, every deployment, and every recommendation we make.

John Roeser
John Roeser founded Ridgepoint Technologies after more than 25 years building IT, cybersecurity, and cloud programs at organizations ranging from regional businesses to global enterprises. His background spans systems engineering, datacenter and cloud migrations, security operations, and CISO-level program leadership at a Fortune 500 quick-service restaurant brand and a publicly traded technology company. That experience — across the full stack of how technology actually gets built, secured, and operated — is the foundation Ridgepoint is built on.
